Our monthly breakfast networking event, hosted by Hub8 in partnership with Moosh Coffee, CyNam, and The Growth Hub Cheltenham, once again brought together members of Gloucestershire’s innovation ecosystem.
P3M Works, a Cheltenham-based cyber security and digital transformation firm, has partnered with Akamai Technologies. The kick-off marks the start of a collaboration aimed at enhancing project delivery, cyber security, and digital transformation services.
In November 2024, The Growth Hub Cheltenham launched at the MX Innovation Centre, drawing 100+ local business leaders. Speakers included Ruth Dooley and Ian Mean MBE, who highlighted SME growth. Plexal CEO Andrew Roughan introduced the “Grown in Cheltenham” programme.
The Cyber Leaders Challenge is a UK-wide competition for university students, designed to develop leadership and cyber skills through real-world emergency scenarios. Teams compete in regional qualifiers and a national final, with opportunities to network with industry professionals and explore cybersecurity careers. The 2025 champions were University College London’s team.
TechnoloGL50 brought together the cyber and tech community to explore important but often overlooked topics. The first Tech Talk focused on the secure destruction of tape storage—a technology still vital for data security, despite its legacy status.
We were honoured to host a major celebration at Hub8 MX to mark the installation of the 100th defibrillator as part of the Public Hearts Cheltenham Defibrillator Campaign!
